Wow! What a start to the year for us.  We began by playing for our second year at Yeovil Octagon to an absolutely brilliant crowd again who know how to enjoy our show. The feedback we have received is really appreciated by all in the band. The venue staff and crew at Yeovil are a credit to the venue. We love to meet the people after the show too, some of you seem surprised but we love to connect with our audiences and it;s a great time to say thank you for attending. We also use this time to ask and learn about what we can do better.

This brings me rather neatly on to our 60′s and 70′s show which will be playing in theatres from April 2013.  The very reason we are doing a 60′s and 70′s show is a result of meeting and greeting our audience. Lots of people have asked for songs that we don’t feel would work with 9 people in stage in the Pulse show so we created a smaller line-up version of the band with different lighting design (same brilliant lighting designer) and a real mix of material from Arnold Layne, In The Flesh,  Echoes and many more. This promises to be another high quality show that UK Pink Floyd Experience are becoming well known for and promises take you on a Floydian journey you will remember for a long time.

We look forward to seeing you after the show and hearing your feedback.

ChristmasHope you are all having a great Christmas like us.  Just a quick line to say have a wonderful time with those close to you and try not to stay too sober on New Years Eve.

Merry Christmas!

This Saturday 29th September 2012 will see UK Pink Floyd Experience playing to a Full House again at The courtyard in Hereford. This year is the first time with UKPFE for most of our production crew at this venue and they are looking forward to putting on a sound and light show to compliment the high attention to detail that we apply to the music we play in recognition of the brilliant Pink Floyd. This is one of our favourite venues that is wonderfully supported by the local residents and further afield too. The managers and staff of The Courtyard are very committed to bringing quality shows to the audience and UKPFE are very pleased to be one of those chosen to perform.

It is also at this show that our original backing vocalist Lindsay Martin returns to the stage. Lindsay has been off doing other things for a little while and is now ready to return to the UKPFE stage to blast out her warm harmonies and powerful rendition of Great Gig In The Sky for you. Both Marie and Louise are over the moon to have all three original Girls on stage together as are the rest of the band. Welcome back Linz’

At the time of writing this there are only 21 tickets still available for this show so if you are thinking of coming we would suggest you get your tickets reserved or purchased as soon as you can.

See you there!

We’re back out playing our shows again after a little bit of down time. We started yesterday (Friday) with Kings Theatre in Southsea, Portsmouth where enjoyed a great crowd in a fantastic old theatre with superb local crew.

We only have two more shows left before we settle down for our Summer holiday break during which time the new set will be thought about and preparations will begin for that to be played in October all being well. We won’t let any of your favourite songs go and we will compliment those we keep with some other of the many great Pink Floyd songs

Hello Pink Floyd Fans!

If you have been wondering why the UKPFE tour diary is empty for next month or so read on…

For those of you that don’t know already our very own front man Paul Andrews and his lovely wife El’ are expecting their first child who will be born in a matter of weeks. Both parents are very excited as the birth date gets closer and closer. Needless to say Paul has had to put the Guitar down and rest his voice for a the odd couple of hours in exchange for a paint brush and various other tools and gadgetry in preparation for the home coming as the nesting period take over all other tasks. We’ll keep you posted on the newsletter when the baby arrives and how they are getting on.

Until then we’re all resting up and taking it easy, maybe tweaking the odd sound or song part in our ever present search for perfection in our performance for the shows that follow Paul’s paternal break.

The next bunch of shows are below and it would be great if you could come and give your own personal congratulations to Paul before we toddle off for the summer break.
