Hello Pink Floyd Fans!
If you have been wondering why the UKPFE tour diary is empty for next month or so read on…
For those of you that don’t know already our very own front man Paul Andrews and his lovely wife El’ are expecting their first child who will be born in a matter of weeks. Both parents are very excited as the birth date gets closer and closer. Needless to say Paul has had to put the Guitar down and rest his voice for a the odd couple of hours in exchange for a paint brush and various other tools and gadgetry in preparation for the home coming as the nesting period take over all other tasks. We’ll keep you posted on the newsletter when the baby arrives and how they are getting on.
Until then we’re all resting up and taking it easy, maybe tweaking the odd sound or song part in our ever present search for perfection in our performance for the shows that follow Paul’s paternal break.
The next bunch of shows are below and it would be great if you could come and give your own personal congratulations to Paul before we toddle off for the summer break.

2012 is now well underway for us and we’re already three shows in. This year is shaping up to be a busy year for us as well as one of mixed emotions as we say goodbye to Lindsay Martin from the backing vocals section.
“Our Linz” has been with UKPFE from the very beginning putting in a tremendous amount of hard work and in the very early warm up days some not so glamorous gigs too. Lindsay is off to do her own projects full time which have been simmering away for a while in the background. We wish her the very bestl in her new ventures and hope she will come to see us when she gets chance.
Lindsay’s final gig will be at The Octagon Theatre in Yeovil this Thursday 8th March 2012. It is close to sold out now but if you can get a ticket and come along please do so and help us give Lindsay a really good send off as she sings with UKPFE for the last time.
Other news ==>
Look out for some new photos fairly soon. We had a very good photographer friend of the band at Lichfield who is currently sorting through the photos as we speak. A small sample are on our Facebook page but there are more to come and we will be refreshing the web site photo’s with them in the not too distant future all being well.
We’ve changed the way we do the video on our home page so that it works with iPhones and Android devices alike. We’d appreciate a note via our contact form if you experience any out of the ordinary problems with it.
That’s all for now – see you at the show!
Now that UKPFE are getting more and more feedback sometimes 20plus feedback emails after show we have begun a more automated approach to your feedback and comments. This means we can get your thoughts online faster and we still need you to keep telling us how you feel about the show afterwards so we can enjoy the good comments and improve things that you thought we could do better in our effort to create a true Pink Floyd Experience for you.
If you want to write in to us for any other reason then do that in the usual way via the contact for linked from the menu at the tope of the page.
Next and final task for our online base is the Merchandise Section where you will be able to buy anythign we sell delivered to you door.
Thanks for your support.
UKPFE.
Hello everyone.
Today we have managed to make the news page look like the new web site after much fiddling around. There is still some tweaking to do so bear with us it is not 100% complete, only 98% but we didn’t like it hidden away.
The other thing we are looking at doing is a more automated comments page which is also in the making.
That’s all for now – more work to do.
