Yes, can you believe it – UKPFE may be on the telly! Does this mean the whole band will have to wear make-up? I know the girls would love to see all the male band members in eyeliner and blusher and will apply it for them if they get chance!

UK Pink Floyd Experience is very proud to announce the new appointment of Steve Ellerington – one of the UK’s top lighting engineers to our technical crew commencing September 2011.
Steve’s CV takes in an eclectic and diverse portfolio from the Cathedral Performances of Aled Jones and Libera, through seven years of working in Los Angeles with “Miles Copelands” International Belly Dance Superstars Show and the recent world tours of UK rockers Porcupine Tree, including their acclaimed performance at New Yorks’ Radio City Music Hall.
Steve is credited with playing “a huge role in the success” of the Pink Floyd tribute scene so his knowledge of their music gives him an authority to put on an impressive light show.
If you have seen our show you will know that we don’t do anything by halves. This latest development will help us to take our show to the next level, creating a true ‘Pink Floyd Experience”.
We hope to see you at a show sometime soon.

Hi Everyone,
Only a few UK Pink Floyd Experience shows this month (June 2011) to advise you of as we prepare for the holiday slow down. What better way to start the wind down than to play near the sea to get in the holiday spirit. I can see it now, all the band and crew eating an ice cream by the sea before we go on stage. Hope we bring lots of sunshine with us, we usually do and we will have the full lighting show with us for these two shows so if don’t miss out if you can make it.

For all those that have never seen UK Pink Floyd Experience in a full production show, Sat 26/3/11 is the best chance you will have for a month or more to see us in our present maximum glory at The Royal Derngate Theatre, Northampton. NN1 1DP
Our show is ever growing as some of our loyal fans from our ealry days have noticed. From our very first show with as many lights as a 13 amp plug would take, we have grown to the present size which is 100 amp 3 phase power for the lights and the same for the Sound System to enable us to put our show on at full scale. It’s always been our goal to create the same kind of feel and look of the jaw dropping Pink Floyd Pulse tour. Maybe one day we will achieve the full thing, never say never. We have come such a long way in such a short time which I am sure our longest viewing fans will strongly agree with. The sound system we are using now is literally state of the art and nothing short of exquisite, professionally rigged and engineered. If you get chance please do tell the crew how much you enjoy the sound and lights if you see them at their consoles. They are the the ones that make the show a really good show.
UK Pink Floyd Experience is honoured to perform at this venue. The Royal & Derngate was awarded ‘Regional Theatre of the Year 2010’ in the Stage 100 Awards in recognition of the artistic quality of its work and connections with local audiences so for us to be given the opportunity suggests that the venues themselves are recognising the huge effort that we, UK Pink Floyd Experience and of course our production teams, go to in an effort to create a top quality musical and visual experience celebrating the sight and sound of Pink Floyd.
Hopefully you won’t have to miss out on this one and The Derngate will have your name on a ticket or two. Don’t hesitate to get your tickets if you are considering coming. Hereford had a large number of disappointed people that never got to see that show this time around because the tickets had all sold out well ahead of the show. “He who hesitates has lost” springs to mind.
